Frequently asked questions
Yes. I hold a California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Trapping License, valid through June 2027, which authorizes me to trap gophers, moles, and other animals that cause damage to property.
For a typical single-family home with a front or backyard and a few areas of gopher activity, trapping services generally start around $150. Every property is different, so pricing depends on the size of the property and the extent of the activity. A free on-site estimate is always provided before any work begins.
Monthly gardening services generally start around $200, depending on the size and needs of your property. Customers who schedule three months of recurring service can also include ongoing gopher monitoring and control as part of their maintenance plan.
I use Gophinator® mechanical traps exclusively. I do not use poisons, chemicals, smoke, or gas cartridges. Traps are carefully placed in active tunnel systems using proven techniques to target the gophers causing damage to your property.
Fresh gopher activity usually appears as new mounds of soil, plugged tunnel openings, or fresh dirt pushed to the surface. Older mounds may no longer be active, so a property inspection is the best way to determine whether gophers are currently present and causing damage.

Yes. My standard gopher trapping service includes a guarantee of no new gopher mounds or fresh gopher activity in the treated areas for one month following service. Longer-term maintenance plans are also available, as new gophers can naturally move into previously cleared areas over time.
No. I use mechanical trapping only. This allows me to target the problem directly without introducing poisons or chemicals into your yard, making it a great option for homes with children, pets, gardens, and wildlife.
